About Me
I’m Michael Rose — a movement‑driven cinematographer and creative director shaped by a lifelong connection to dance, music, and performance.
My earliest inspiration came from studying Michael Jackson. His musicality, precision, and storytelling taught me how rhythm, emotion, and movement can live inside the camera.
Before filmmaking, I lived inside the culture: dancing, performing, MCing, DJing, and creating content within my community. Those experiences gave me rhythm, timing, stage awareness, and a deep understanding of how movement feels from the inside — all of which now guide how I shoot, direct, and edit.
I’ve also spent years teaching and mentoring creators at Colorado Media School, helping students develop their voice in film, storytelling, and social media.
Today, I blend all of those worlds into a visual style built on energy, emotion, rhythm and intentional storytelling — creating cinematic work for dancers, studios, artists, and creative brands.

Movement is the foundation of everything I create. I shoot with rhythm, direct with intention, and edit with emotional pacing — building visuals that feel alive, connected, and rooted in culture. My goal is always the same: to make people feel something.
